Handwoven & Traditionally Dyed
Exclusive silk and silk velvet fabrics are woven in small traditional manufactories in Uzbekistan. For generations, the fabrics, which are only 40 cm wide, have been produced using elaborate dyeing and weaving techniques, and the historical patterns have their origins in nature. Onion skins, red beets, walnut shells, and hibiscus flowers are used as dyes, for example.
